AEW wrestler Cash Wheeler will no longer stand trial on charges of worsened attack.
Wheeler was set to stand trial later on this month on a charge of worsened attack with a gun. This came from a roadway rage event from August of 2023, where Wheeler apparently flashed a weapon at another chauffeur.
According to a report from Pwinsider, the district attorney’s workplace submitted a noelle prosequi, which is an official notification of desertion by a complainant or district attorney in the event.
As of this writing, there is no word on why the case has actually been dropped. While a pre-trial hearing in the event was set for tomorrow, that will clearly no longer be occurring.
Finally, Wheeler’s bond has actually been launched and the case has actually been formally closed.
