It constantly looked like it was going to end quickly, however it make the event no less unfortunate. Following his departure from Liverpool FC after his agreement at the club ended, Thiago Alcântara revealed his main retirement from football. Immediately, Bayern Munich launched a main declaration on the club’s main site, in which the club celebrated, honored and thanked the erstwhile Bayern gamer for a gorgeous profession that enhanced the footballing experience of anybody who had the advantage of seeing it.
Though Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen was not in his existing function when Thiago shown up from FC Barcelona, he coincidentally signed up with Munich in 2013, the exact same year the Spaniard came to the club. Therefore, it was rather fitting as Dreesen spoke, as recorded by @iMiaSanMia, of both the excellent intro to Thiago Bayern were dealt with to a years earlier and the much more excellent track record he left: “Thiago was a key part of our team for seven years, and with him we won the Champions League in 2020. Pep Guardiola once said, ‘Thiago or nothing!’ – FC Bayern says at the end of his career: ‘Thiago can do anything!’ Thank you very much for a wonderful time together, we wish you all the best for the future. A starting spot in our legends team is always reserved.”
That last line is crucial. Though Thiago’s profession might have ended, everybody at the club will hope that Thiago’s association with the club will continue. Whether as an ever present member of the legends group or perhaps as a member of the Bavarians’ personnel, there is hope that this is not the last we see of Thiago Alcântara do Nascimento at Bayern Munich.
