However, her day on the court took a sour turn when she dealt with a hard difficulty versus French wild card Lois Boisson, leading to an uneven rating of 6-0, 6-3 that left Dart sensation salty in more methods than one.

During a changeover, Dart revealed her pain by asking the chair umpire, “Can you tell her to wear some deodorant because the smell is really bad?” This uncommon demand definitely captured attention and sparked discussions amongst fans and analysts alike. Unfortunately for Dart, her plea did not substantially modify the match’s result, as Boisson controlled the video game, winning 7 successive video games at the start and closing with a strong three-game win streak to protect the straight-sets triumph.
