Juventus Proposes Exciting Swap Deal Involving Dusan Vlahovic and Joshua Zirkzee

In an intriguing turn of events, Juventus has reached out to Manchester United with a proposal that could see them land Dusan Vlahovic in exchange for Joshua Zirkzee. The Italian giants are keen on acquiring Zirkzee, who has faced challenges in making a significant impact since his high-profile transfer from Bologna for €34 million.

Zirkzee showed great potential under the guidance of former Bologna manager Thiago Motta last season, scoring 11 league goals and earning the prestigious Serie A Footballer of the Year accolade. However, his transition to English football has not been as fruitful, as he has only netted four goals in 27 appearances across all competitions for Manchester United.

This week, Ruben Amorim hinted that Zirkzee might soon depart from Manchester United, following a frustrating period that culminated in the player being booed by home fans after a substitution during a match against Newcastle last month. The discontent surrounding his performance has led to speculation about his future.

With Motta now at Juventus, the club is eager to rekindle their connection with Zirkzee. Reports indicate that Juventus is willing to include Vlahovic in the deal. Vlahovic has been prolific for Juventus, scoring 40 goals in 91 league matches since his €70 million move from Fiorentina three years ago.

However, the Serbian striker has just 18 months remaining on his contract, and there are growing concerns about his fit within Motta’s tactical framework. Juventus is considering offloading his substantial wages, making this swap deal even more appealing.

Arsenal has also been a long-standing admirer of Vlahovic, having missed the opportunity to sign him when he joined Juventus in January 2022. Additionally, Paris Saint-Germain has expressed interest in the forward, as the French champions look to bolster their attacking options at the Parc des Princes.
