Significant changes have occurred, yet many elements remain constant since the unveiling of the 2024 Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America Team. The landscape of FCS college football continues to showcase an abundance of talented athletes. Below are the selections for the postseason All-America and Freshman All-America teams, highlighting emerging stars and established players.


The 2024 Stats Perform FCS All-America Team and Freshman All-America Team feature a collection of distinguished players from renowned FCS national programs and previous award finalists. This year’s lineup reflects the incredible talent and competitive spirit present in the FCS football landscape.

The All-America team comprises 113 elite players segmented across three teams, showcasing talent from all 13 FCS leagues and representing 67 schools. Montana State leads with a remarkable seven selections, while South Dakota State closely follows with six, emphasizing their strong football programs.

The first team showcases a trio of athletes nominated for the prestigious national player of the year awards: the Walter Payton Award contenders include quarterbacks Tommy Mellott from Montana State and Cam Miller from North Dakota State, along with Southern Utah’s running back Targhee Lambson. The Buck Buchanan Award finalists comprise defensive ends Jeremiah Grant from Richmond, David Walker from Central Arkansas, and Mercer’s cornerback TJ Moore, all vital defensive players.

Furthermore, the Freshman All-America Team features 31 standout players from 27 different schools, including North Dakota State running back CharMar Brown, who has earned the coveted Jerry Rice Award. Notably, North Dakota State, Idaho, Missouri State, and Wofford each claim two selections, highlighting the depth of talent among freshmen.
