Barcelona started life under Hansi Flick with a win over Manchester City in the very first video game of their pre-season trip of the United States.
It’s a motivating start to the Flick age with a host of children meeting the Premier League champs and winning on charges.
Flick handed begins to Marc Casado, Marc Bernal, Gerard Martin, Sergi Dominguez and Hector Fort, while Guille and Toni Fernandez, Alex Valle, Noah Darvich, Andres Cuena, Ander Astralaga and Quim Junyent all had minutes off the bench.
Pau Victor scored Barcelona’s very first objective of the video game to make it 1-0 to Flick’s side midway through the very first half.
Pablo Torre then made it 2-1 with his 2nd objective in 2 video games of pre-season after returning from a stint on loan with Girona.
The brand-new Barcelona supervisor was a pleased man after the video game, while Pep Guardiola confessed he was impressed with his previous club’s children – especially Marc Bernal.
Barcelona now take a trip to New Jersey for a Clasico versus Real Madrid.
