During his more than two decades in the NBA, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers has made a lot of friends and a lot of enemies, with some players around the league not liking the way he handles his business on and off the basketball floor.
One of those players that famously didn’t like James is former Chicago Bulls star Joakim Noah, who butted heads with James on more than one occasion.
Noah was one of those stars in the league that was incredibly loyal to his team and his teammates and never stood for any flak from opponents like James and Kevin Garnett.
Ironically enough, in the twilight of his basketball career, Noah had an opportunity to play well beyond his prime with the Lakers, which would’ve teamed him up with James in Los Angeles.
Noah recently talked about that opportunity and how he’s glad that it never came to fruition on the “Pardon My Take” podcast.

Noah is not one to be fake, and it could be argued that some of James’ teammates over the years have had to put on somewhat of a show to be on his team.
That said, Noah knows that he would’ve struggled to see eye-to-eye with James in Los Angeles, and that’s why he’s glad he never ended up signing with the Lakers, even though he wanted to continue his playing career in the NBA.
Even though Noah wouldn’t have liked the way things were in Los Angeles with James, it would’ve been interesting to see how things went down had the partnership come to fruition.
