Jordynne Grace Shares Her Journey and Transition from TNA Wrestling
After an impressive tenure exceeding six years with TNA Wrestling, Jordynne Grace has reportedly signed a new contract that will officially transition her to WWE, marking a significant milestone in her wrestling career. This move not only signifies her personal growth but also reflects her ambition to explore new challenges in a different wrestling environment. The announcement of her new deal comes after much anticipation, and fans are eager to see how she will make her mark in WWE.
Earlier reports indicated that the former Knockouts Champion made strategic adjustments to her last TNA contract, ensuring it would conclude around the time of TNA Genesis on January 19, rather than extending later into the year. Grace confirmed this during her appearance on Insight With Chris Van Vliet, providing insight into her career decisions and future aspirations.
Reflecting on her emotional response to the sudden departure of former TNA President Scott D’Amore, Grace stated, “When he left, I was very emotional. It was unexpected, and like many others, I felt taken aback. We learned about it via a corporate Zoom call, which, while not inherently negative, was surprising. My initial signing was rooted in my belief that Scott would lead us to success. He played a pivotal role in the revitalization of TNA.”
Grace elaborated on her decision to expedite her contract’s expiration, stating, “I requested for my contract to be cut short. Originally set to last until October, I felt compelled to transition earlier to January. I’m grateful that TNA was receptive to my request. I genuinely believe that had I not pursued this change, I might still be with TNA.”
Jordynne Grace Embraces Change for Career Advancement
In addition to the upcoming exit of Scott D’Amore in 2024, Grace expressed that her ambition to progress in her wrestling career was another significant factor motivating her decision to leave TNA. Throughout her impressive run, she has not only secured the Knockouts Championship three times but has also held the TNA Digital Media Championship and the Knockouts Tag Team Championships, showcasing her versatility and skill.
Grace reflected on her extensive time at TNA, stating, “I’ve been with TNA since 2018 and have never allowed my contract to expire until now. Typically, I would just re-sign. I think the uncertainty of my future and fear of being unwanted contributed to my hesitation. However, I now feel a renewed sense of confidence. My experiences in 2024 have been remarkable, and I believe it’s the perfect moment for me to take the next step. I’ve achieved so much in TNA, and I feel I’ve accomplished everything I could there. If there was ever a time to seek new opportunities, it’s now.”
