There was lots of speculation on what previous Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann’s Germany team for the upcoming Nations League matches would be.
Amid 4 retirements and the exemption of huge names such as Leon Goretzka and Mats Hummels from the 2024 European Championship, it was bound to be an intriguing lineup. But Nagelsmann chose to stick to the lineup he selected over the summer season, with one significant exception: Former Bayern Munich youth and existing VFB Stuttgart gamer Angelo Stiller.
Naturally, press reporters asked Nagelsmann about this in the extremely next interview, even querying if Stiller was indicated to change the effect previous Real Madrid star Toni Kroos had on the group. @iMiaSanMia caught the Germany nationwide group manager’ action: “Toni Kroos’ successor is a big job to do. I don’t want to burden him with that at the beginning. There are currently few assessments from the current season because not much has been played yet. That’s why the Euros squad is largely staying together. There may be changes in October if a few others players are in good form. Angelo did very well in Stuttgart. He was very close to the national team last year. That’s why he deserves to show what he can do.”
Nagelsmann typically likes to follow his own convictions which has actually not altered. With the group that played well adequate to turn into one of EURO 2024’s favorites, he and his group are poised to take the next action.
