Liverpool Firmly Declines Any Swap Deal with Real Madrid for Ryan Gravenberch and Aurelien Tchouameni
Reports indicate that Real Madrid has taken note of Ryan Gravenberch’s impressive performances this season. The young midfielder has emerged as a vital component for Liverpool FC, showcasing his skills and determination on the pitch. His development into a key player has garnered attention from various European clubs, highlighting his growing reputation in the football world.
At just 22 years old, Gravenberch leads the Premier League with an impressive record of 31 interceptions and a remarkable success rate of 88.2% in aerial duels. After a challenging initial season at Anfield, his resurgence has made him a sought-after talent across Europe. Nevertheless, Sky Germany reports that Liverpool remains steadfast in their decision not to part ways with the Dutch midfielder.
Real Madrid, having shown interest in Gravenberch, reportedly considered offering Tchouameni as part of a potential swap deal. The Reds have admired the French midfielder for a long time, especially after they narrowly missed out on signing him in 2022, when he ultimately chose to join the Spanish giants.
Tchouameni was signed by Real Madrid for an initial fee of €80 million, coming from AS Monaco. Since his arrival, he has contributed to the success of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, winning seven prestigious trophies, including a notable La Liga and Champions League double last season.
Despite his success, Tchouameni has been linked with a potential exit as the European champions are reportedly open to selling him for the right price. His situation adds an interesting dynamic to the ongoing discussions between Liverpool and Real Madrid.
