Marcus Rashford became the first Manchester United player since Wayne Rooney to score in seven straight Premier League games at Old Trafford.
The England international struck against the run of play in the clash with Leicester on Sunday after Bruno Fernandes fed the in-form striker with a delicious pass after 24 minutes.

And Rashford made no mistake one-on-one against Danny Ward, a position that the forward does not seem possible to miss from nowadays.
It saw United go a goal up while the 25-year-old became the first player since Rooney to score in seven Premier League home matches in a row for United in the process.
Rooney started his goalscoring record in December 2009 that lasted until March 2010, making it eight league games in Old Trafford in the row in total.
But Rashford has three Old Trafford matches to go to match Cristiano Ronaldo’s record of 10 in a row – though the form that the Englishman is showing, not many would bet against him.
It continues the United’s brilliant season under Erik ten Hag, whose strike was his 23rd of the campaign in all competitions.
As a result, it means Rashford has already outscored his best tally for the Red Devils in 2019/20, when he netted 22.

Rashford has equalled Rooney’s record
And there is plenty more to come from the forward, who has looked a new player under the tutelage of Ten Hag and coming off the back of a miserable season.
Last year, under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick, he managed just five goals in all competitions and there was serious talk of him leaving Old Trafford amid interest from Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.
But there is no chance United would entertain the thought of their star man leaving now, who has now scored nine goals in his last 10 Premier League appearances.

His latest strike against Leicester could not have come at a better time after the Foxes put their opponents under the cosh for the first 20 minutes.
David de Gea was called into action twice early on before Wout Faes gave the ball away to Fernandes, who threaded through Rashford with a brilliant pass.
The United striker made no mistake while another win will only fan the flames over a potential Premier League title raid under the noses of Arsenal and Manchester City.
Rashford then added to his tally again in the second half for his 24th goal of the season.
A narrow offside call went in his favour as he slotted past Danny Ward once again to make it 2-0, before Jadon Sancho then added a third.
