Sammy Anim Addo, a former member of the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), strongly supports the emergence of young talent Matthew Anim Cudjoe as a future star for the Black Stars. He believes that when given the chance, Cudjoe will not only fit into the national team but also elevate its performance significantly. This endorsement emphasizes the importance of nurturing young athletes and providing them with the platform to showcase their skills on an international stage.
Anim Addo expressed confidence in Cudjoe’s abilities, stating, “He has proclaimed that his debut for the Black Stars will be a transformative moment, and I share that sentiment. Unless fate intervenes, I firmly believe that as long as there is hope, Matthew will don the national colors and contribute immensely to the team’s success. The unique talents he possesses will astonish everyone if he is granted the opportunity to display them.”
He further elaborated, saying, “Observe the current state of the Black Stars; if Mohammed Kudus is unavailable, can you name anyone in Ghana who possesses the same exceptional qualities as Matthew Cudjoe? His skill set is rare, and it’s time for the national team to capitalize on such talent.”
After recently parting ways with Scottish club Dundee United, Matthew Anim Cudjoe is expected to make a high-profile transfer to a top European club, which will further showcase his potential and skills on a larger platform.
