Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan has reportedly picked up a flexor injury following the Rossoneri’s Champions League match with Newcastle United. The Frenchman was forced to come off during the second half of the 0-0 draw last night, with the club confirming that he has undergone medical tests this morning.
Calciomercato journalist Daniele Longo reports that Maignan has suffered a flexor injury in his left thigh, but thankfully the MRI scan has ruled out serious injury. Longo adds that Maignan’s will be checked daily.
Milan had also lost Ruben Loftus-Cheek to injury during the match, but the English midfielder confirmed that he was only suffering from cramp.
