By doing so, we can draw connections to the Seahawks’ potential draft strategies and uncover how they may navigate the draft landscape to enhance their roster.

Amid the prevailing belief that the Seahawks will look to trade down from their position at No. 16, it’s crucial for them to identify teams eager to move up. ESPN’s Dan Graziano has highlighted several teams positioned below Seattle in the draft order that are actively seeking greater opportunities. Among these teams is a rival from the NFC West, which could complicate Seattle’s plans.

Insider discussions suggest that the latter half of the first round may witness a flurry of activity compared to the earlier picks. The Indianapolis Colts at No. 15, the Jacksonville Jaguars at No. 17, the Los Angeles Rams at No. 19, and the Philadelphia Eagles at No. 22 are all reportedly making inquiries about potential trades to ascend the draft board.

For both the Colts and Jaguars, their target likely centers on a cornerback, which could draw interest from teams such as the Chicago Bears at No. 9 or the Denver Broncos at No. 12. The prospect of two division rivals competing to secure the same player, potentially Alabama’s Terrion Arnold, could drive up trade costs significantly. Additionally, there’s speculation that the Eagles might pursue a wide receiver, but an intriguing theory suggests they could aim to draft tight end Brock Bowers, given their recent affinity for players from Georgia. If the Rams choose to trade up, it would likely be to select one of their prioritized defensive prospects.
