Pablo Fornals will surely be given a chance to reignite his West Ham United career in the Europa League on Thursday night.
West Ham signed Pablo Fornals from Villarreal in the summer of 2019 for around £25 million (The Telegraph).

He immediately endeared himself to the Hammers faithful with some full throttle, passionate performances for the club.

However, he has found himself on the outside looking on over the past year or so, and recent reports claimed that he could leave the London Stadium either in January or next summer.
That’s because he has allegedly refused to take up the option of a one-year contract extension (Sean Whetstone), meaning that he’ll be a free agent next summer.
So is there any way that David Moyes can get the Spaniard interested again and potentially tie him down to a new deal?
West Ham risk losing Pablo Fornals for nothing if David Moyes doesn’t make big decision
It’s time that the Scot not only gives Pablo some regular chances to prove his worth but plays him in his correct position as well – centrally.
The 27-year-old is a wonderfully gifted footballer from a technical perspective but I feel like he has been wasted by David Moyes.
The Scot mostly shunts him out on the left flank when he does play him – a position that renders him totally ineffective due to his lack of pace.
Now, losing him on a free transfer really would be a big blow as far as I’m concerned. He absolutely adores West Ham – the club and the fans – and the feeling is very much mutual.

Moyes should give Fornals a chance in the Europa League. He needs to know that opportunities are still there and available to him, if we are to have any chance whatsoever of tying him down to a new contract.
And I don’t just mean this week’s game either. He needs to play every single Europa League group stage game.
At least then Pablo Fornals will feel like he has a role to play for this West Ham team.
And let’s face it, we might just need the former Villarreal man next season and beyond if Lucas Paqueta draws the attention of Manchester City again.
If Moyes chooses not to play the Spaniard on Thursday night, I feel like his time at the London Stadium could very well be done.
