
Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski was required off hurt in the very first half of Poland’s friendly versus Turkey on Monday ahead of Euro 2024.
The 35-year-old went off with what seemed a thigh injury in what was a stressing sight for Poland fans ahead of the competition.
Poland will now be sweating on their leading scorer’s physical fitness ahead of the start of the competitors, although coach Michał Probierz appeared positive he will be okay.
“He has a minor injury, there should be no problems for him to reach the Euro,” he informed press reporters.
Lewandowski was making his 150th look for the nationwide group in a video game which Poland went on to win 2-1.
Poland now head to Germany for an opening group video game versus the Netherlands, however there will be no reunion for Lewandowski with Frenkie de Jong as he’s been dismissed of Euro 2024 through injury.
