During an interview with NBA press reporter Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports, Stephen Curry stated it’s “surreal” being colleagues with LeBron James on Team U.S.A..

Curry and LeBron are 2 of the best gamers in NBA history.
“Having Bron as a teammate is surreal, because you have so many battles back and forth,” Curry informed Yahoo Sports. “You appreciated his video game. You understand what he’s about, and to see the develop close and individual every day, to see how, you understand, he prepares, how he talks in practice, like I’ve never ever had that perspective of him.
“So (I’m) just excited to see how our games complement each other and build that chemistry that’s going to help lead this team.”
LeBron’s Cleveland Cavaliers dealt with Curry’s Golden State Warriors in 4 straight NBA Finals in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. The Warriors won the champion in 2015, 2017 and 2018, while the Cavaliers won everything in 2016, ending up being the first string in NBA history to remove a 3-1 series deficit in the Finals.
“Obviously in the Finals, that brings out the the healthy animosity of somebody standing in your way of a goal. And you know, you’re going to have some bad blood out there,” Curry stated. “But through it all, I’m a firm believer, you can be competitive, you can have that killer instinct and see blood on the other side, but still have the utmost respect for who you’re playing against.”
The Warriors attempted to get LeBron from the Los Angeles Lakers at the 2024 NBA trade due date.
However, the Lakers were not thinking about trading LeBron.
Team U.S.A. is stacked with a great deal of skill. The group is comprised of LeBron, Curry, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid, Anthony Davis, Bam Adebayo, Anthony Edwards, Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Booker and Jrue Holiday.
