
The Oklahoma State Athletic Commission has actually revealed that they will be postponing their guideline on intergender battling to the state’s legislature.
Earlier this year, the Oklahoma State Athletic Commission wasn’t delighted with Nyla Rose having a match versus Alejandra Leon at the ROH television tapings in December of 2023. The commission considered the match “intergender” due to the fact that Rose is a trans lady. At the time, AEW was provided a “warning” over the matter.
OKC FOX is reporting that the OSAC fulfilled on Tuesday to go over possibly altering the guideline. A vote was held and they authorized asking the legislature to get the concern in a hearing.
It is stated that numerous members stated a guideline modification would break a current law that mandates professional athletes use a group matching their designated sex at birth, while others argued that the law didn’t use to expert fumbling.
Commissioner Michael Stopp included that he thinks the matter might get too political if the OSAC altered the guideline by itself. He stated, “Even if they are defined by statute as male and female, are we still going to allow them to wrestle together. That’s the question, and it’s going to get lost. The rule will never pass.”
