Tonali thanks Milan fans after warm welcome and ‘one of us’ chants

Sandro Tonali got a great reception from the AC Milan fans as he came out to warm up at San Siro ahead of the game against Newcastle United.

As Newcastle came out around half an hour before the Champions League group stage opener, there was a lot of applause for Tonali from the Milan fans and even a chorus from the Curva Sud: “Tonali uno di noi (Tonali one of us).”

The midfielder heart the chants and was clearly touched, clapping the fans back.

“Tonali, 𝕠𝕟𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕦𝕤”
