In a thrilling FA Cup quarter-final encounter at Nana Amoah Koronmansah II Park on Saturday afternoon, Nsoatreman FC revealed unbelievable persistence to beat a hard Karela United defense, winning 1-0.

The winning objective was scored by Eric Osei Bonsu in the 102nd minute.

Nsoatreman FC coach, Maxwell Konadu, applauded his group’s persistence method, specifying that Karela United’s protective setup needed a careful strategy to break down.

“When you have a team that is defending very well like Karela did, we needed a lot of patience to unlock their defense,” Konadu stated.

Recognizing Karela’s strength in their wingback and midfield, Nsoatreman went with a technique of brief passes to break their defense. This technique showed effective, resulting in the definitive objective in additional time.

“We saw that they were very strong in their wingback and in midfield. So we had to use the short passes to break or unlock their defense and that is what we did exactly and the goal came,” Konadu described.

The triumph protected Nsoatreman FC’s location in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
