Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich was not delighted with the 2-2 draw with Real Madrid, however simulated what he saw from his group in general.
“I think we were the better team and had the better chances. It’s obviously annoying that we conceded the equalizer through a penalty. We saw that we are more than capable of keeping up, that we have phases where we control the game and create chances. We will be able to do that next week, too. It’s all up for grabs — the winner takes the cake,” Kimmich stated (as recorded by @iMiaSanMia).
Kimmich and his mates will be considering up a sweet cake when the return leg hits Madrid. If the young boys can take out a success there, it certainly will be “cake for everybody” throughout the event.
